$COKE Is The Treasure! (Axie Infinity/OpenSea Art Contest)
In August 2020 we launched a creative campaign around Origin Axie #2646, also known as “Cocaine Cowboy” ($COKE). Its NFT was fractionalized into fungible $COKE shards through NIFTEX, and the world was invited to create artworks and memes in return for $COKE shards.

The price of $COKE, and culture that drives it, has been exciting to watch. Cocaine Cowboy, $COKE is now the subject of dozens of artworks and memes. On February 1st, 2021, $COKE reached an all-time high of $94.36 per shard, for a total evaluation of 717.64 $ETH ($943,600.00) on CoinGecko. $COKE is currently the record holder for most total volume traded on the NIFTEX platform, with 1175.78 $ETH ($4,136,629.20) in trading volume. With every trade we continue to prove that value can be created through culture.
There are currently 273 $COKE holders. We encourage the community to take further control of the project, and add their $COKE shards to the Uniswap liquidity pool.
What do we mean when we say “$COKE is the $DOGE of NFT?” Just as Dogecoin is a “fun and friendly Internet currency” that continues to onboard people to crypto, we believe that $COKE has a similar potential to onboard new users to NFT and DeFi through the power of meme. With the Elon Musks and Mark Cubans of the world supporting Dogecoin, a proof of concept is being presented that supports the financial value of culture.
Today, we’re excited to announce the 3rd Cocaine Cowboy ($COKE) art contest! Your art must meet the following criteria:
- Create a work of art that features ANY Axie Infinity asset. Cocaine Cowboy can be incorporated, but you’re free to create any Axie art that follows the Axie Infinity art minting policies here. Be creative. Push boundaries. Axie model positions/expressions can be found here (For Cocaine Cowboy, Get Axie Image “2646”).
- Must be minted on OpenSea before the Friday, May 21st, 2021, 9:30pm (CST) deadline.
- The description/properties fields must include: Cocaine Cowboy, $COKE, Axie Infinity Fan Art, AxieInfinity.com, and the ID number of any Axie used in the work.

Prizes/Awards
In total, there will be 2,500 $COKE shards, 150 Rough Love Potion, $RLP, and 60 Axie Infinity Shards, $AXS, up for grabs. The first 9,999 artists to participate will have the opportunity to claim x1 copy of “$COKE Is The Treasure,” by nuu on OpenSea. If less than 9,999 artists participate the remaining copies will be burned.
1st Place — x1 Cocaine Cowboy ($COKE) Plushie, 750 $COKE, 75 $RLP and 30 $AXS.
2nd Place — 500 $COKE, 50 $RLP and 20 $AXS.
3rd Place — 250 $COKE, 25 $RLP and 10 $AXS.
4th-25th Place — 1,000 $COKE divided.
1st-9,999th Place — Opportunity to claim x1 copy of “$COKE Is The Treasure,” by nuu on OpenSea.
x1 Cocaine Cowboy ($COKE) Plushie will be awarded to the 1st place winner. Holders of the exclusive Cocaine Cowboy ($COKE) Plushie will be eligible to earn passive rewards collected on the The $COKE Estate (+C△🗯). The $COKE Estate is a 2x2 collection of land in the Savannah’s of Lunacia. This land will be dedicated to the promotion and culture of $COKE, future art gallery showings, and much more. There will be five judges for this contest; myself (cloudwhite), along with celebrity judges, Axie Infinity Growth Lead, Jihoz, Co-Founder & CTO of OpenSea, Alex Atallah, NIFTEX BD & Marketing Lead, ExHuman, and the world famous, Bored Elon Musk.
